TLDR

Mike joined Vinay Koshy on Sproutworth (Predictable B2B Success) to talk about what makes B2B revenue predictable. Not tricks. Systems. The kind of small, boring choices that let you know what next month looks like.

Predictable growth is less about doing more and more about doing one thing you can repeat. Here is how Mike thinks about getting there.

Start with one clear offer

Most experts sell a menu. They list every service they can do and hope the buyer picks something. That feels safe. It is the reason revenue swings up and down. When your offer points at one clear outcome, the right buyer knows in seconds that you are for them. A simple offer is easier to sell, easier to deliver, and easier to repeat. Repeatable is what predictable is made of.

Price for the problem, not the hours

Mike's take on pricing is direct. Most experts charge about half of what the work is worth, and they pile on about thirty percent more work than the offer needs. Both habits kill margins and make growth shaky. The fix is to price the problem. Map what the client's pain costs over three, six, and twelve months. When you see the size of the problem, holding a premium price gets a lot easier. You can't hold a price you don't believe in, so do the math until you believe it.

Build a simple sales process you can run every time

A predictable business needs a sales process a buyer can follow without friction. Mike builds a short three to five step path and names it for the outcome the client wants, not for internal jargon. People buy when they feel understood, so the process is about listening well and showing the buyer you get their problem. If your work fixes a future pain, moving a good-fit client forward is your job, not pushy. If you want to hear how other operators build the back office behind this, the business infrastructure conversation is a good next listen, and the business mastermind episode covers similar ground on systems.
