Why Your Marketing Is Not Making You Money
▶TLDR
- Marketing that does not make money usually points at a fuzzy offer, not a broken channel.
- Most coaches undercharge by about half. Fix the price and the belief behind it.
- Selling stops feeling salesy when you vet for fit and focus on the client feeling understood.
Coach Up with Kaneshi Hart is for coaches and business owners who are past the startup stage but feel stuck. So we went straight at a frustration a lot of them share: they are doing the marketing and it is not turning into money.
Nine times out of ten the channel is not the problem. The offer, the price, and the way they sell are the problem.
The problem is usually the offer, not the channel
When marketing does not pay off, people rush to change platforms. But a clearer channel just pushes more people toward a fuzzy offer. Fix the offer first. Simplify to one clear outcome, name your process for it, and keep it to a few steps.
Then look at price. Most coaches undercharge by about half while doing thirty percent more work than they charged for. Belief comes before price. Map the client's pain over one, three, six, and twelve months and you will see what solving it is worth.
Selling without feeling salesy
A lot of coaches hate selling because they think it means pushing. It does not. Vet for fit first. If someone is not a match, you both move on. If they are a match, moving them forward is your responsibility, because you can help them.
People buy when they feel understood, not when they understand you. Spend the sales conversation understanding their situation, and the close stops feeling like a fight. I dug into the money and systems side on the Hailey Rowe podcast and the Business Mastermind Podcast.
